'Follow the Flag' Documentary Film

One of our favorite stories from Flags Across America is about an organization called Follow the Flag, based Pleasant Grove, UT. Every 4th of July Follow the Flag unfurls the largest American flag ever flown across nearby Grove Creek Canyon. At 150x78 ft. in size, and over 400 pounds, it can take dozens of people just to carry this enormous flag.

KSL TV in Salt Lake City recently released a documentary film about this amazing flag. Not only is it an inspiring story, but it provides a great behind-the-scenes view of what it takes to fly the world's largest flag.

Flags Across America featured on Seattle's KING TV

Exciting day! Today, Karen and I were guests on New Day Northwest, a show on NBC's Seattle affiliate, KING TV. Host Margaret Larson invited us into the studio to share the story of Flags Across America, including some of our favorite highlights from the book.

Following or segment there was a short break, so we had a couple minutes to talk with the studio audience. It was inspiring to see how excited and inspired they were just from the small amount of the book we were able to share.
